Annaleena House Interior Design

Annaleena, owner of this 350 square meter house have designed by themselves. She is a trained stylist while he can do a lot of things by his own hands. They looked at various house designs and managed to pick the best ideas from them. There are three levels of openness that feature views of a church near by. There are high ceilings, large windows and white color everywhere. There is all necessary furniture but rooms looks spacious and airy anyway. “I love this room! The large windows let the light, and the stove is a nice cozy, “says Annaleena on the generous living area. Carpet, white leather sofas and lamps from Ikea. Striped cushions from Afroart, the hot pink has Annaleena made myself. Chest and Madonna from the Village. Annaleena wanted a Kitchen That suited the house’s cheeky face. Kitchen cabinet handles, Jonas made of solid pipe. “With a clear picture in my mind I took out the grinder and Weld and in three days was completed staircase. One Incredible Lighting Design

Winners of the 2010 Light & Architecture Design Awards were officially announced in the most recent issue of Architectural Lighting.

There were a number of amazing designs, but I wanted to share my favorite: the W Hotel Ft. Lauderdale, which received Outstanding Achievement, Whole Building. Lighting designers from Washington, D.C.-based MCLA collaborated with Adache Group Architects on the project.

“Flying” candle fixtures above the fountain accentuate the low ambient light levels at the entrance of the hotel.

Flexible LED fixtures are mounted on the ceiling and walls of a pool table lounge.

Pasinetti Residence by Design Plus Construction

Living in California is all about sun, sand and sexiness. And that’s what the newly renovated Pasinetti House— originally designed in 1958 by Romanian architect Haralamb Georgescu, is all about. Redone by Aaron Torrence of Design Plus Construction, the new look of the home comes due to extensive use of glass and wooden add-ons that bring in better ventilation while still keeping in line with the original design. Comprising of a series of 20-foot cubes, including an open-framed deck in the back overlooking the cityscape, some unique modern artwork and a large storage space for books, this is seems like the perfect hub in the sunshine state.
