In the past month or so, Ive made a sea-change in my way of thinking about advice to new writers in advice to myself as well.
Herewith:
1) Want to be a writer? First step. Write.
Its that simple. Every morning, start your day with a pen and coil-spring notebook, fill 2-4 pages at a minimum with drafts of articles, rough ideas, rants, dreams, whatever. Just write. And write without much editing.
2) Once a week, preferably twice but once is good, take one of those penned works, clean it up and post it on a blog. Do not worry about creating audiences for your blog, do not worry about social media or any of the things youre supposed to do with a blog.

This past Fall, ROMA Design Group proudly announced the completion of the Martin Luther King Jr. National Memorial in Washington D.C. In 2000, ROMA won the international design competition among nearly 1,000 entries. ROMA Design Group worked for several years to develop the design.
The memorial has now been built and was officially dedicated by President Obama on October 16, 2011.

One of the most total information about garden tool storage rack plans can be found in our website.
Because We seldom need to discuss this together with any person, I’m able to examine my own paper just like a book — front to back again — which lastly, undoubtedly delivers myself towards the questions page. Read full post…

By my count Santa, this will be the 61st time I have left cookies and milk by the chimney with care. It is also the 59th year I have written a letter.
Let me begin by expressing my disappointment over the last 47 of those years for not having received a real Ferrari. I have received model ones, teeny toy ones, pictures of ones and even a sales tag for one. But none I could drive myself. Santa, a few years ago I purchased a Triumph Spitfire because you simply werent coming through as expected and I could only wait so long. While Im no longer asking for the Ferrari, please understand Im disappointed.
Ditto the real plane. I dont own of those but will take it off the list in any case.

Cape Town based Martine Jackson is the creative co-director of the Carrol Boyes brand as well as a ceramicist in her own right. Ceramics remains a great passion for Martine, who was introduced to it by her late mother, ceramicist Barbara Jackson.
Distinctive organic shapes adorned with repetitive patterns are the hallmark of Martine Jackson’s one-of-a-kind, hand-built ceramic pieces. This is reflected in Curve, her debut range of ceramics for Carrol Boyes.
She draws inspiration primarily from nature from the earth with its myriad textures, mountain contours and organic patterns, regular or irregular. Althou
