Commercial patio furniture are pieces of furniture made for public use at a place of business. There are several places where this type of high traffic furniture could be helpful. Bars, clubs, and restaurants with an al fresco dining area in particular need weather, sun and pest resistant outdoor furniture for their guests. Small cafes with sidewalk areas can make use of bistro tables where customers can sit and enjoy their coffee or wine outdoors. The word bistro refers not only to a type of patio set, but also to an establishment where wine and light refreshments are sold.

Claesson Koivisto Rune has recently designed the interior of the Nobis Hotel located in two historic late 19th-century buildings on Norrmalmstorg square in the heart of downtown Stockholm, Sweden. Designed with a holistic attitude, together with a certain amount of eccentricity, Nobis Hotel is a contemporary 5-star hotel.
The extravagant Gold Bar, the French-inspired 24/7 bistro, the generous lounge, the Italian trattoria Caina on the floor below, the relax area clad entirely in marble and the conference section with its original wooden paneling preserved have each been given a distinctly different character. Natura Home showroom was created to accommodate samples of curtain fabrics and furniture as well as samples of orthopedic bed mattresses. Among the owner’s requests were a continuous 50 meters exhibition space for fabrics, a 5 mattresses exhibition space, a meeting area, a repairs workshop, a reception desk, and hygiene facilities for staff and clients.
